Bookings are not required, however on bank holidays & special occasion days (i.e Mother’s Day, Easter weekend) we only take a small amount of bookings between 11.30am and 12.30pm, so we recommend getting in touch 1-2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.
Once our reservation slots are full, we invite all our customers to walk-in and we will do our utmost to seat you as quickly as possible.
Murgatroyds Fish & Chips
Murgatroyds opened in the summer of 1994, and is run by the Chadwick family. Brothers Andrew and James are the managing directors, and their daughters are part of the management team, involved in the day to day running of the restaurant.
Murgatroyds is named after Billy Murgatroyd, owner of Moorfield Mills, which stood on the site of the present building and helped put Yeadon on the map in the 1870s.
